On my way home from a job I spotted these two fine folks at a busy intersection in Las Vegas doing some old-timey crowdfunding while juggling. Inspiration hit and I already had my gear with me with so I jumped off the bus at the next stop.
It wasn't until I approached them that I realized how rapidly the orange wash of the sunset was disappearing. I had to set up real quickly to capture that fantastic color. I wanted to really showcase those colors so I knew that I'd have to underexpose the photo to emphasize the sky while popping off my flash on a TTL cord held out camera left to illuminate the two travelers.
